Trial session
An online conversation for you to tell what brought you here and for us to see whether analysis makes sense for you right now. You take on no commitment to continue.
With Patrícia Santana, in training in Psychoanalysis at Instituto FD.
How it works
- You send a message on WhatsApp saying you want to book the trial session.
- We agree on a day and time, taking your time zone into account. The session is online, by video call, in the language that works best for you: [English, Spanish or Portuguese].
- In the trial session, you tell what led you to look for analysis, and we talk about how the work happens. Afterwards, if it makes sense, you choose your package.

Frequently asked questions
Is the trial session a diagnosis?
No. It is a conversation of listening and of presenting the work. There is no report or label, and you decide whether to continue.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
After the trial session, you choose the package that makes the most sense for you. [Enter here whether the trial session is free or has a fee, and the payment methods.]
How long does an analysis last?
There is no fixed time. It varies from person to person and is discussed along the way.
Does what I say stay between us?
Confidentiality is a principle of analytic work. [Adjust this text according to the code of ethics of your training.]
Is analysis for everyone?
Not always. In situations that call for medical or psychiatric assessment, you will be guided to seek that care, which can happen alongside analysis.
